TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SERVICES

Welcome to WarGlamour, a miniature painting service based in Atlanta, GA. This document has been written in order to guide new clients through the process of commissioning a miniature project. Each one of these sections can be identified for their respective headers, so you won’t get lost at any time.

Because of the very specific nature of our commission work, we have very clear policies.

We always ask for a deposit of 50% of the total project cost before starting a miniature commission work (unless you choose the financing system). It is a form of commitment when you make the order.

There are no cash refunds, but we can redevelop your project, or give credit for use in future orders.

Once the project has the approval of the customer, we will work on it until it will be completed. Notice that we won’t split the project in different shipments. Everything will be sent to you at once when you give us the OK. During the process and when the project is over we send lots of pictures so you can see all the details and colors of the miniatures.

If you want a specific miniature budget, fill in our form with a detailed list of what you would like us to paint. Be sure to tell us if you send us the miniatures or if we have to buy them, and whether they are assembled or not, as well as the desired painting Level. Once we have the budget, you can modify, add or delete what you want freely. Finally, when you give us the OK to the project we will get it started.

We will produce your quote based on your specific enquiry. We reserve the right to amend pricing as and when we see fit prior to giving you a quote in response to your enquiry. Once a quote has been received, it is valid for 30 days, unless we withdraw expressly.

We reserve the right to correct any mistakes within your quote at any time during the 30 days validity period.

More often than not, the pricing of one of our services, including but not limited to our Building & Cleaning service or Painting service will be charged at a set price per model. We do, however, charge an hourly rate for some of our other services in certain circumstances, including but not limited to our Painting service when in relation to our Master Level models, our Converting service, or other case-by-case services we may offer.

Service pricing is decided entirely by WarGlamour based on a model’s size, a model’s level of detail, or specific process being requested to be used by the client on the model, the painting tier requested, as well as any other factors WarGlamour sees appropriate. Any size references, including but not limited to Small Vehicles, Medium, Large, Primarchs, Titan,  and Super Heavy within your quote refer to all of these factors and not just the model’s physical size.

A representative part of our miniature work is uploaded on our website and in our social networks. We do not show the best work and deliver something different. The levels that you see are what you will receive. If you like what you see in the different galleries, you’ll like what you’ll get. That’s what you are buying. We are proud to show our work no matter the level.
Of course, you’ll get exactly what you ordered in your budget, always with our best quality standards.

Remember that these are not toys for children. Please, keep small children away.

Prompt communication is very important. Do not be shy to contact us at any time, we will be happy to hear from you. We provide a 5 star service and we are sure we will fulfill your expectations.

Upon entering a commission contract with us (WarGlamour) you will be put in contact with your painter overseeing and completing your project. Be sure to check your email in order to answer any questions your commissioned painter may have regarding your project.

Two options are available:

  • You buy the miniatures.
  • We buy the miniatures for you (recommended!)

Why we recommend buying us the miniatures? Very easy. You save shipping costs. In addition, models can be purchased at a 15% discount of retail pricing.

We do not charge any extra costs for the purchase of the models, just add the amount at the end of the budget and it will be ready.

We are not responsible for increased production times due to delays sending miniatures. But really, do not worry. If any incident happens, we’ll keep you informed at all times of everything.

WarGlamour offers three painting tiers titled I’m on a budget, Tabletop ready, & Parade ready. We consider every painting tier offered to be a different level of premium painting quality.

Each painting tier has a specific process formula that every painter working on a WarGlamour commission has agreed to.

Each completed paint work goes through a quality control process within WarGlamour to ensure the quality matches up to our minimum standard requirement. It is only once this has passed that a completion email will be sent to the client.

Our painting service is a mandatory service within our commission process, and reserve the right to refuse to send an enquiry to any client not wishing to include our painting service in their commission.
Any details of the painting process, including but not limited to techniques used, paints used and equipment used will not under any circumstances be disclosed to the client.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

Once we have completely finished the project, we take a photo gallery, ranging between 15 and 30 images. We will send it to you via email, so you can provide us the final approval. It only remains to proceed with the payment of the final 50% and we will send your miniatures perfectly protected.

If you have given your approval to the project but the final payment is not transfered within a maximum of 30 days, we understand that you refuse it. Please, if you think you won’t be able to afford the payment in that range or any other circumstances happen, let us know so we can propose another solution.

We accept payments by bank transfer, credit card and PayPal.
The whole amount of every miniature painting work must have been paid before sending the miniatures, including shipping costs.

Remember that the last payment must be made within a maximum period of 30 days since the approval of the project.

The client will decide which payment method you would like to pay your deposit with, and WarGlamour will invoice you accordingly. Once a payment method has been clarified in writing by the client for an accepted commission quote, you will receive your first invoice for your deposit payment which is made up of 50% of the service cost along with any model costs if necessary.

All deposits are subject to a 14 day cancellation period, after which deposits are non-refundable.

If we do not receive the total completion payment payable within 30 days of us sending our completion email, we reserve the right to cancel the commission with no refund or products being sent to the client as per the contract entered into when taking a commission out with WarGlamour.

We reserve the right to allow completion payment extensions on a case-by-case basis. Any and all agreed payment period extensions must be agreed to in writing or are invalid.

While under our care, WarGlamour is responsible for your miniatures. But once they leave our studio they are beyond our jurisdiction and we cannot be responsible.

WarGlamour is not responsible for what happens with the models once they are delivered, due to the use or misuse of the same. By using our services you are agreeing to this.

However, if for some reason, when you get your miniatures, there is any damage, do not worry. Contact us and we will try to find the best solution, always fixing the damage. We may apply extra costs under our decision but will always inform about them in advance.

The cost of shipping varies depending on the country and depending on the project size.

Our parcels are always sent with tracking number so the customer can always know the status of the package at any moment.

All edges of the box are completely covered with packing tape. Workers responsible for packaging make sure that everything is perfectly sealed and that there are no holes or moving parts inside the box.

We always appreciate your feedback when you receive your models from our painting service.

We cannot accept responsibility for items damaged during transports. For logical reasons, we perform the miniature painting service, but we are not who deliver your parcels. It is a third company.

However, as we have said, if there is any damage, we usually make appropriate repairs with any extra cost, although it not guaranteed. In that sense it doesn’t matter the reason for the damage, we’ll take care of it.

Bits unused from the boxes we buy are not returned to the customer, except under specific request.

Normally it takes from 2 to 6 weeks until you get back your entire project, since we receive the miniatures. Obviously, for small orders, times will be shortened, and for orders of thousands of points, it will take longer.

WarGlamour prioritizes your miniatures but take the stance of “you’ll get them when they’re ready.” This is to ensure that quality is not compromised for speed. For an additional fee, a rush order (order with a deadline) can be made.

The delays are caused by the availability of items, so we can not guarantee a 100% accurate delivery date, but we will do our best to get your miniatures painted as soon as possible.

We are often asked if we can clone a miniature project that previously we had already done.

The answer is yes. If you really want to get any of our painted armies showed in our galley, just tell us and we’ll have one like that. We keep the color palettes and schemes of each job for these situations.

If you have finally decided to send your army to our miniature painting service, please pack it well, immobilizing and covering each miniature with bubble wrap. If anything is delivered to us broken, we will gladly repair it with no extra cost. We will repair up to 5 models at no additional cost, enough for any kind of chaos that could be caused inside a box during shipping.

If you consider it appropriate, add us an inventory of everything you send. It is not mandatory, but it helps when we check the package contents.

When wrapping models, it is advisable to cover them with bubble wrap, but if this is not possible, a few layers of toilet paper should suffice. Once you already have all the miniatures inside the box, make sure that everything is immobilized, so they do not collide with each other during transport. Newspaper balls will allow you to fill in any possible cavity left in the box.

Once a quote has been accepted by the client and the initial payment has been completed, the commission enters its place on the WarGlamour waiting list. Each waiting list indicates an amount of time the client will be waiting before physical work on their commission begins. This is not a time frame in which a client can expect their commission to be completed.

The waiting list is split into three categories within which your commission pay be placed; ‘Army’, ‘Small Project’, ‘Character’. WarGlamour will decide what waiting list best suits your commission and not the client.

Currently, each waiting list is operating with the following times:

Armies – 6 Months
Small Projects – 3 months
Characters – 1 Months

During the time the deposit is paid but the project is not yet completed, if the same individual client then books in a new commission, paying a new deposit, WarGlamour reserves the right to combine the separate commissions together for the purposes of project completion, waiting list placement, waiting times, update emails and any other part of the process, without notifying the client.

WarGlamour reserves the right to change these waiting lists without notifying the client. We also advise that these waiting lists are an estimated guide time, and we reserve the right for a commission to take longer before beginning if needed.

Sometimes our products can content magnets.

These are purchased from a supplier, another company outside ours.

They are very powerful and could become dangerous if they are not handled with proper care.

Avoid letting magnets near magnetic devices such as laptops, hard drives, credit cards, etc.

Do not try to drill the magnets nor submit them to temperatures above 80 degrees Celsius.

Keep magnets away from young children and pets.

We reserve the right to cancel an order to a foreign country (with refund of course) if the shipment is unusually high.

We reserve the right to cancel an order placed through any of our channels if the price or conditions and / or specifications of any kind are incorrect due to misspellings, typographical, syntactic, semantic, or any other mistakes.

All manufacturers that sell and / or paint and name belong to companies that have the registration of their property.

Prices for our products or services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current.

The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Often some customers tell us “please tell me how you did this.” We never reveal our methods or materials used to avoid copies of our work. It is the same idea of a restaurant, keeping his recipes locked.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

All discount codes are applied to the value of the commission, excluding model and shipping costs and are subject to our general Terms and Conditions.

The discount code must be entered into the Message field on the enquiry page at time of enquiry only.

Unless stated, discounts cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied to any commission.

The expiry date of the discount code will always be advertised along with the code.

We reserve the right to amend or withdraw a discount code at any time.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
